Ace is writing

It has been a very long time since I posted anything on the blog. Between 2 crashed hard drives in 6 months and loosing all our pictures, posting has been difficult. But here is the much promised video of Ace writing his numbers and letters and the very first time he wrote his name. This was in January-sorry it is so late. I will try to put up some pics and more video later.

Halloween

For my second Halloween I turned Punk! I was the rockin-est kid on the block. check me out...

New spoons

Now that I have been eating solid foods for over half my lifetime, I have decided there must be an easier method of eating than a spoon. Here are my current inventions...

1. The Fork-uffin: Put the muffin on a fork and eat it like a lollipop. So much easier than with the hands.

2. Butter lid scoop: Much more efficient for scooping larger amounts than a spoon. It is a bit messier, but I consider that a plus.

Now see me in action!

Houston visit

We went to visit my GREAT aunt Barb and my GREAT cousins in Houston. We had a super great time and Texaswasn't nearly as bad as mom said it would be. We'll definitely be back for another visit soon.

Oregon State Fair

My first visit to the fair!  Today mom and dad took me to the State Fair.  I had such a great time seeing the animals.  The goats and the baby piggies were my favorite.  Most of all I liked picking up the wood bedding chips and scattering them around or on tope of the goats' heads.  Then it was eating time...corn dogs, lemonade, elephant ears and ice cream!  Why isn't there a fair every day?

Racing is in the genes

So I guess love of cars must be genetic.  I found this old model Accord of Dad's and it is now my favorite toy.  I have made a few of my own modifications -I removed the exhaust and I'm working on removing the side skirts.  I can't wait until Dad gives me the Skyline!

Talitha comes to visit

My cousin Talitha came to visit us.  Isn't she so cute?  I can't wait until I can play with her.  Maybe a few more months-she seems advanced for her age so I think she'll be walking soon!
