summer adventures

We have had a great summer! We spent a week in California visiting family. We stayed in Napa at the fabulous Wulff Retreat (aka great aunt krys and uncle randy's house). I wasn't so sure about the water at first but by then end I didn't want to get out. Can you blame me with this view!

Then we spent a week in Sunriver with friends. We had another fabulous time! I played with Brandon and Michael the whole time! Brandon taught me all about Judo Chop and "Ernie's great adventures" and Michael taught me about swimming and I followed him everywhere learning how to be a big kid.

Summer is so great! And its only August...

Andrew's first tricycle ride

Andrew got a tricycle way back on his birthday but hasn't been interested in riding it until recently. He seems to really like the downhill rides but isn't a fan yet of having to actually do the work of peddling.

Swimming lessons

I just received my 'certificate of completion' after 10 weeks of swim lessons. Mostly we splash around and sing songs. But it has gotten me more used to the water which was the primary goal. At least I don't scream the second my toes touch the water like I did last summer!

Ace's alphabet

I still LOVE letters and numbers. This is my favorite alphabet song. Mom and Dad think the singing is pretty cute....I think so too.

Playing with the dogs

A new game... My dogs are hillarious. All I do is tell them to drop their toys- "dop it.... dooppp it", then I take it and run. The dogs chase after me and I run in circles giggling. Until they take it back from me- then its not funny anymore.

My new best friend

A few months ago I suddenly discovered my Sheep up in my room. He has become my best friend and goes everywhere with me. "Sheep....sheep...."

Ace is writing

It has been a very long time since I posted anything on the blog. Between 2 crashed hard drives in 6 months and loosing all our pictures, posting has been difficult. But here is the much promised video of Ace writing his numbers and letters and the very first time he wrote his name. This was in January-sorry it is so late. I will try to put up some pics and more video later.
